I loved today's episode but I wanna talk about something...

Did it feel like Nexus was projecting there near at the end?

Like all the stuff he said to Earth felt like stuff he must feel deep down. He says she's a puppet. (WRONG.)

He says people only brought her into their lives cause she was a simple puzzle piece, something nice and easy, someone who they could dump all their problems on...

This is what Nexus feels like deep down. He feels like a puppet on a string and that people only took him in cause they needed something easy, someone to take the load of all the trauma.

He wants Earth to agree with him cause he NEEDS her to agree with him. He needs someone to tell him that he's right that Sun,Lunar,Monty,Solar,Moon, and the others are the villains, not him cause he can't handle the fact he is one. He needs someone to tell him he's not... but he is. He is the villain.

And he's still a puppet... just Dark Sun's now.

Nexus realizes that deep down, he's got nothing. He doesn't have Sun.

He doesn't have Solar.

He doesn't have Earth.

He doesn't have Lunar

He doesn't have Monty.

He doesn't have a daisy.

He has nothing.

He's got nobody.

Nexus needs someone to tell him he's in the right... but he's not, and no one will. You made your bed, Nexus... now lay in it.

tagged by @fenrelmercar! ok so with quizzes like this i usually take them twice (for myself or characters) bc inevitably there will be at least one or two questions where i am soooo torn on an answer. so i like to go back and see if the other things i considered change anything. this resulted in the most hilarious combination possible:

desire and sexuality: you're mysterious and alluring. when lovers seek a magnetic connection, they pray to you. you're particularly associated with eros, erotic love, and mania, obsessive love. you exude intense magnetism and your voice is like a siren call, luring anyone and everyone you desire.

desire and sexuality is very obviously fitting; sasha is a slut puppy and often uses intimacy to fill the various little voids in his soul (but also sex rocks big time). nightmares and discord.... on first thought it is wildly not sasha. when he is hurt he stuffs that into a sack and throws it into a river, his ass is not bringing doom and chaos. buuuuut. he can be temperamental, and when he decides that he isn't going to be nice accepting repressed sasha he may well beat your teeth in lol. so, ig i can see where the vibe came from. in a parallel timeline maybe there is a sasha that instead of choosing repression chose anger and malice.

he's 100% desire and sexuality tho that's the deity he would very much be. diagnosed slut by uquiz 😔

I don’t think you didn’t ‘like’ Brain so much as you weren’t really sure what to do with the character, especially since he wasn’t utilized very much. I think now that you’re writing one you’re liking him more!

I think you make a great point actually, writing about him has definitely led me into a better perspective of him and a better understanding of his character as well

Also I think part of my initial hatred was because I got into Top Cat through the 2011 movie where he's very flanderized and just played for jokes and literally just 'the dumb one', once I actually got my hands on the series I realized my horrid mistake and now he's my liddol scrunkly precious little baby boy my little lad i wanna give him scritchies so BAD AAUUUUUGH

You know, I have a lot of bizarre dreams with nighmarish elements, and I've always had them, as long as I can remember. Most of the time they're not bad dreams. Just weird.

Today, I had one about the Lighthouse from Veilguard that sure puts a unique spin on the possibility that it might be a living, evolving thing. Because in my dream, after the events of Veilguard, the Lighthouse started slowly transforming into a more personalized space for Rook and the companions. Problem is that where the original furniture disappeared, it left puddles of blood and gore, like the Lighthouse itself was bleeding. And from that, new furniture sprang. But like, Rook's wardrobe had a much wider selection of clothes afterwards! And they were organized into various categories, even. Also, Rook finally got a proper double bed, but the aquarium in their room turned into a really long tunnel (while still being an aquarium) without an end in sight. Where did it lead? I need to know.
